It's Time To Move On

It happened to me unexpectedly. Suddenly, I found myself with an overwhelming sense of despair. Emotionally speaking, it was a lot like being dropped into a violent raging river,  I didn't know what was up or what was down. I was hoping I could wake up in the morning and It all be overwith. Little did I know, it was to be the begining of a long journey. I was at the bottom of a deep, dark, emotional pit. For years I so longed for answeres. I would fast and pray; I would call out to God; I would listen for any voice for help. I longed to be able to talk to anyone about what was going on inside of me.

That's what this website is about. I believe I can offer answeres and advice. I will throw a life-line out to you. And I want to listen to your story.

Are you stuck in a pit?

It has been said that there are hurting people on every church pew. You don't have to look very far outside the church either, to see many that are experiencing the pain and despair that life in the pit can bring. It is true that the experience of being in the pit is a state-of- mind, but I also think, that it's a state-of-soul. Far too many times, people get stuck in the pit with no understanding and neither do they have a plan of escape from it's confining grip. This website is for those that have become pit-dwellers, and don't know what to do or whom to turn to for help. It has been my experience, through the years, that there are few resources out there that address such issues that can guide them through this dark and hopeless pit experience.

It is my desire that the pit-dwellers out there can draw from this website, comfort and direction, and can truely obtain a new sense of hope. I personally know the depth and the darkness of the pit, and can share some insight and direction, to help you navigate from this terrible place. You can walk away from the pit, and find a place of hope and safety.

Imagine with me, if you can, that the pit-dweller can be compared to a prisoner that is held captive, long forgotten, and left to dwell in enemy's territory. The average individual can not understand or identify with this lost prisoner and are at a loss for words for the pit-dweller. Instead of the more common pursuits, the pit-dweller struggles to just exist in his pit. And to all the pit-dwellers everywhere, let me just say that there is hope.

To all those that are in despair, those that have been forgottten and forsaken, those that know the pain, darkness and brokeness of the pit...I want to help you.
